It’s easy to work with me.

Whether you have several Pinterest boards full of ideas, or are totally clueless with your vision for a space, my aim is to simplify the interior design process. Scroll down to discover how my room redesign and bathroom design services work.

Step one.

CONSULTATION

Every project starts with a free 20 minute discovery call, where we can discuss every detail about your interior design project. If you want to progress, a home design consultation follows, where we can chat about the brief in more detail, and I’ll share some ideas and measure the room.

Step two.

DESIGN

I'll take all the ideas we discuss at the home consultation and collate them together into concept mood boards, 2D elevations, 3D drawings (where necessary, additional fees apply*) and floorplans with furniture layout. At this stage, I will ask for your feedback and will happily make two revisions to your design.

Step three.

PROJECT DELIVERY

When you are happy with everything, I’ll hand over your design package, which will also include a full shopping list, detailing paint schemes, flooring, furniture, lighting, accessories, and more. You’ll also have access to my trade discounts, as well as detailed notes for contractors.

Step four.

INSTALL

You’re ready to start! Every design package will provide you with the tools necessary to implement the design on your own terms. However, if you require any additional help during the installation process, I am happy to assist on site**, liaising with trades to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

*3D drawings are included in the bathroom design service, otherwise priced depending on the project

**Additional service charged at £95 per hour

Frequently asked questions

  • My interior design service differs from that of a traditional interior designer, in that I list all costs upfront before any design work begins, so you will know exactly what you are paying for.

3D drawings are not included in the price for the Room Redesign service, however, should you choose to have 3D drawings created, I will always quote upfront for these. (Pricing for this is dependent on project size, but typically a living room designed in 3D would be an additional £295).

  • I provide you with everything necessary for you to implement the design on your own, which is what makes my interior design service affordable.

However, I am happy to oversee install and styling, depending on the project and location, and can be on-site to communicate with trades if required.

This service is charged at £95 per hour.

  • I am based just outside of Portsmouth, Hampshire, and will travel within a 50 mile radius from here (travel fees may apply). However, many projects can be undertaken virtually, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to use my design services but live outside of Hampshire.

  • Right from the start! An interior designer can help you make the right choices, advising on layout and electrical plans and ensuring small details aren’t overlooked, helping you to avoid costly mistakes down the line.

  • Yes, I can advise on unit colours, wall colour, tiles, handles, and worktops and pull together physical samples. I can also put together floor plans and elevations as guidance for you to take to a kitchen supplier or carpenter to work from.

This is a bespoke service, not covered under the Room Redesign service and will be priced according to project requirements.

  • Yes of course. I will always listen to your ideas and make use of existing furniture where necessary. I often design schemes around one prominent item of furniture, such as a sofa or bed, making sure any new items complement what is already there.

  • I source items from a wide variety of retailers, so depending on your budget, I will be able to find the right products for your home. In certain instances, I will recommend trusted suppliers, where I have access to trade discounts that I am able to pass on to you.

  • I select paint colours from the following collections: Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Dulux Heritage, Neptune, Lick and COAT Paints.

  • Yes, depending on your location. I have worked with some great tradespeople over the years and I am more than happy to recommend them to you. However, I cannot accept liability for any work they carry out, nor will I contact or manage them for you.
